Vehicle Inspections¶
A Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) is the tech's walk-around of the vehicle — what's good, what's wearing, what's unsafe — recorded in OverDrive and sent to the customer by text or email. The customer reviews it on their phone and decides what to authorize.
The DVI is what turns "the tech says you need brakes" into something the customer can see for themselves, with photos and measurements. It's the foundation of recommended work and the basis for what they approve or decline.
