Creating a National Account¶
A National Account is a customer tied to a fleet, warranty, or corporate program. The bill goes back to the program, not to the driver standing in front of you.
Each program has its own rules
Every National Account program has its own approval rules, covered services, and submission process. Check the program's quick-reference card before starting work.
When to use National Account¶
Use this for:
- Fleet vehicles billed to a national fleet management company
- Warranty or extended-service-contract work billed to the program
- Corporate programs that send vehicles through for covered service
Don't run the driver's card — the program pays. If this is just a regular customer, they're Retail. If it's a local business with a credit line, that's House Charge.
